Services We Provide

MotherToBaby MA is open to individuals and clinicians in the New England area. We provide information in a non-judgmental, confidential manner by phone and email regarding:

The possible effects of different exposure(s) before, during pregnancy and while breastfeeding

  • Health advisories regarding food, herbal supplements, vitamins and others
  • A written summary is mailed to the caller and her physician if requested
  • Referrals to genetic counseling centers or other services to discuss complex issues when necessary

Note to the public and clinicians: Please be aware that we cannot provide medical advice or make clinical recommendations. We can only provide the education you need to assist you and your clinician with the best course of action for your potential or current pregnancy.

The Center for Poison Control and Prevention is to provide assistance and expertise in the medical diagnosis, management and prevention of poisonings. The center serves the general public and health care professionals and provides education on how to prevent and respond to poisonings.
